Vic: Man charged with murder of Chadstone woman in court

A man charged with murdering a woman in the driveway of her home will face the Melbourne
Magistrates Court today.

Police say they arrested 22-year-old PISEY PRASOEUR, of Chadstone, on Friday night
and charged him with the murder of ANETA POCHOPIEN.

He's been remanded in custody.

Mrs POCHOPIEN was gunned down in the driveway of her Chadstone home as she sat in her
car early last Wednesday after finishing a night shift at a nearby factory.

Mrs POCHOPIEN, who moved from Poland to Australia with her family 10 years ago, will
be buried in her hometown of Krakow.

A memorial service will be held for her at Richmond's St Ignatius Catholic Church on Wednesday.
