Qld: More low interest loans for drought affected farmers
BRISBANE, Feb 25 AAP - Primary producers battling the drought will be eligible to applyfor up to $100,000 in subsidised loans from the Queensland government.
About 50,000 Queensland properties will be eligible for the Drought Carry-On FinanceScheme which would complement existing drought assistance measures such as the interestrate subsidies for two years.
Primary Industries Minister Henry Palaszczuk told state parliament today the schemewould be accessible to all sections of industry, except retail nurseries.
