MILWAUKEE - Pinch-hitter Kevin Mench's tiebreaking RBI triple in the seventh lifted the Milwaukee Brewers to a 4-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Sunday.
Mench scored on a wild pitch to make it 4-2 for the Brewers (51-40).
Colorado, which had won six of eight, dropped below .500 to 45-46.
The Brewers scored twice in the seventh off reliever Jeremy Affeldt to break a 2-2 tie. Geoff Jenkins led off with a double. Mench, pinch-hitting for Gabe Gross, lined a ball into the right-field corner for the triple, his second of the season. Mench scored on Affeldt's wild pitch to pinch hitter J.J. Hardy.
