ALBANY -- The Pataki administration said Wednesday that a younger brother of Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno is filling in as acting commissioner of the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services while candidates for the job are being considered.
Although an OASAS spokeswoman Tuesday said Bruno was Pataki's pick for commissioner, Michael McKeon, a spokesman for Gov. George Pataki, said Robert Bruno, an associate commissioner, would serve in the post ``as we look for a permanent replacement for that spot.''
