Norwegian yesterday announced it has launched high-speed Internet on flights within Europe.
The aircraft have an antenna which communicates with a satellite which provides the aircraft with two separate networks, one for passengers and one for pilots and crew.
Customers on European services will be able to read online stories, work, play games or watch TV online with the new service.
By summer this year its is hoped the carrier will have eleven aircraft equipped with Internet and by the end of the year 21 aircraft will be equipped with plans for 40 aircraft to have in-flight Wi-Fi by 2012.
